2019 Australia’s Biggest Bakslap

The inaugural live event took place on the beaches of Queensland in December 2019, where hundreds gathered and took part in the Sunscreen Challenge. However, as we continue to navigate COVID-19 restrictions, Australia’s Biggest Bakslap has transitioned to an online platform, taking it from the beach to your screens.

We continue to hold this event at the beginning of every summer to help raise awareness about the importance of sun protection. Creating our interactive digital game has allowed us to continue to host the World Record Sunscreen Challenge – in digital format.
