Harri Jones

First race of 2020 at the Adelaide 500

His Dream

He began his Motorsport career in 2015 competing in the Queensland Formula Ford Championship. Having not raced Go Karts, it was initially a very steep learning curve. However, in only a few short years, Harri has earned the reputation as one of Australia’s future stars. He is known for his maturity behind the wheel, ability to learn, his respectable nature and, most importantly, his speed. In 2019, Harri won the Porsche Michelin GT3 Cup Challenge Australia and has taken the step up to the Porsche PAYCE Carrera Cup. Harri’s long-term goal is to continue to work his way up the ‘Porsche Motorsport Pyramid’ and race in the World Endurance Championship. Races like the Le Mans 24hr, Nurburgring 24hr and Bathurst 12hr are all on his bucket list, and he has no lack of drive to get there.

Getting a Skin Check VLOG

We’ve heard these question A LOT! “What is it like getting your skin checked for the first time? Is it expensive? How long does it take? Do you have to be a certain age?” Great Questions! So we teamed up with one of our bakslap ambassadors Harri Jones, to answer them for you..

Get to know Harri VLOG

Raph had the pleasure of catching up with Harri at his Sunshine Coast headquarters. This VLOG is for you the viewer, so you can get a glimpse into the sport of racing, what it’s like behind the wheel and what an all-round nice guy Harri is.

Why Harri’s on Board

“I love the fact that you’re a local company, started from scratch and for a great cause.

You’ve created bakslap for the greater good and your sisters’ story really struck me as well, especially because she was so young. It made me realise that the damage we do to our skin today could lead to skin cancer down the track, it’s not something I can ‘worry about later’.

I see bakslap aligning with me because I am a young outdoorsy person living in Australia and want to set the right example for my age group and within my sport.”
