We’ve heard these question A LOT! “What is it like getting your skin checked for the first time? Is it expensive? How long does it take? Do you have to be a certain age?” Great Questions! So we teamed up with one of our bakslap ambassadors Harri Jones, to answer them for you..
Raph had the pleasure of catching up with Harri at his Sunshine Coast headquarters. This VLOG is for you the viewer, so you can get a glimpse into the sport of racing, what it’s like behind the wheel and what an all-round nice guy Harri is.
“I love the fact that you’re a local company, started from scratch and for a great cause.
You’ve created bakslap for the greater good and your sisters’ story really struck me as well, especially because she was so young. It made me realise that the damage we do to our skin today could lead to skin cancer down the track, it’s not something I can ‘worry about later’.
I see bakslap aligning with me because I am a young outdoorsy person living in Australia and want to set the right example for my age group and within my sport.”
Harri
Harri is a busy guy! Not only is he a professional racing driver but also studying a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Queensland (where his current GPA is 6.86/7). He is the first Motorsport athlete at University of Queensland to be recognised with a prestigious Half-Blue award.
Harri is also an engineering intern at HeliMods and a Driver Development Coach for various racing divisions within Australian Motorsport. He also loves to surf, awesome mate!
“All the best from the bakslap team for 2020 mate. We’ve got your back!”
Cheers, Raph.
